Khrystyna was Sales Administration Manager, before retraining in the hotel and catering industry and joining Sven in this adventure. After falling under the spell of the building, she had no trouble learning the trade, she likes human contact. Khrystyna is a passionate person who promises you the most beautiful stops.

You can sit in the restaurant room or on the superb terrace for your business lunches, your family dinners, your family meals, etc.

Le boss, Sven Leininger

Sven Leininger runs the Hotel-Restaurant Le Freudeneck in Wangenbourg-Engenthal with his partner Khrystyna.

This culinary professional has worked in many renowned establishments in France. He notably worked at Joël Robuchon in an establishment in London, but also at Martinez in Cannes. 

He learned the rigor and the demanding, which allow him on a daily basis to offer you exceptional dishes in the heart of Alsace!  

On a daily basis, Sven enhances simple products thanks to his unique know-how!

Our different formulas

We want to simplify all your stopovers in our hotel-restaurant near Strasbourg, so we offer you various options.

  • For travelers: half-board formula including evening meal with starter, main course and dessert (from €70).

Brewery

From the early hours of the afternoon, we open the doors of our brewery to you. Sit down in the beautiful park or on the pleasant shaded terrace, and we will come and serve you whatever pleases you.
